12.7.1.2. MIDI Input Channel
This parameter defines the MIDI Channel to which the MiniBrute 2 should respond. It also
allows you to perform MIDI-to-CV conversion when the Sequencer and Arpeggiator are
stopped. The selected value is the MIDI channel that will be allowed to control an external
device through the CV/Gate/Mod connectors.
These MIDI messages can either arrive via USB or the MIDI Input connector.
12.7.1.3. MIDI Thru
This parameter will turn the MiniBrute 2 MIDI Output into a MIDI Thru. Incoming MIDI data
will be routed directly to the Output instead of being used to transpose sequences, etc.
12.7.1.4. ModWheel MIDI Ch
This determines whether the ModWheel will send its messages down a fixed MIDI Channel
at all times or change MIDI Channels when the keyboard does.
12.7.1.5. ModWheel CC
Ordinarily a mod wheel is assigned to MIDI CC #1. But this parameter allows you to set it to
a different MIDI CC number so you can use it as an alternate modulation source.
12.7.1.6. Pitch Bend MIDI Ch
This determines whether the Pitch wheel will send its messages down a fixed MIDI Channel
at all times or change MIDI Channels when the keyboard does.
12.7.1.7. Keyboard Velocity curve
Three velocity curves are available so you can choose the one that best matches your
playing style.
12.7.1.8. Keyboard Aftertouch curve
Three aftertouch curves are provided so you can choose the one that seems the most
responsive to you.
12.7.1.9. Keyboard MIDI Out Port
With this setting the MiniBrute 2 will know if you want the data generated by the keyboard
to be sent to the USB port, the MIDI Output, or both.
12.7.1.10. Seq MIDI Out Port
With this setting the MiniBrute 2 will know if you want the data generated by the sequencer
to be sent to the USB port, the MIDI Output, or both.
