Installing the Batteries
3 Push the battery into the bay until it latches into place. The following photo
shows a Telephony Modem with the battery inserted.
Note 1: The Telephony Modem does not begin operating until you apply AC
power.
Note 2: It is normal for the Battery LED to flash after initial installation of the
battery to show that the battery is charging.
4 Replace the door. To do so, place the tabs of the battery door into the slot on
the Telephony Modem battery compartment. Rotate the door away from you
until the latch snaps back into place.
Note: The TM402G and TM402H models use a lithium-ion battery pack. The
battery does contain precious material, there may be some benefit in
recycling. Please dispose of the battery responsibly and in accordance with
local ordinances.
