Telephony Modem Installation Guide Release 4 Standard 3.0 Aug 2004

— Telephone cable

•

Load USB drivers (for USB connection only) 

Location

Always position the Telephony Modem:
•

within 5 feet (1.6 m) of all necessary cable connections without stretching 

or adding extension cords.

•

with enough clearance between the bottom of the Telephony Modem, and 

any flooring or shelving underneath, to allow access to cabling. 

•

with enough room around the unit that the battery compartment can be 

accessed and a battery or batteries replaced (battery backup models only).
