3.1  Unpacking 

When unpacking AquaVENT® FD140i, the following parts should be present: 
 

• 

AquaVENT

 FD140i  device 

• 

Power lead 

• 

User Manual 

• 

Technical Manual (oponal) 

 
If all the parts listed above are not present, please contact the manufacturer. 
 
NOTE    The protecve packaging containing the device should be retained for when the device is  
 

       being transported back to the manufacturer for service or repair.  This is to prevent damage to  

3.2  Mounng 

AquaVENT

®

 FD140i has been designed to be mounted on a pole stand such as would commonly be used 

with a paent on a “drip”. The device should be mounted  such that the touch screen can be comfortably 
viewed and accessed by the healthcare giver. 

Device setup  

CAUTION 

Before  mounng the device on a pole stand, open the 
Fixaon  Claw  fully  by  rotang  the  handle  in  an 
anclockwise  direcon  and    ensure  that  the  4x  M5 
screws on the back of the fixaon claw have been fully 
ghtened.
