PROBLEM
CAUSE / SYMTOM
SOLUTION
System power
failure
Power short circuit in
some board(s)
Exchange the bad board for normal one.
Remove the things like dust on each board.
Check the PSU fuse.
Replace the PSU with the appropriate type.
Off or blinking is the
light of LD6 LED on the
MBU
System does not
operate
Power short circuit in
some board(s)
Check the connection of each board with MBU.
Try to press Reset button.
Check the PSU.
Check the short circuit on MBU or other boards.
Press reset button when the dip switch (for database
protection purpose) is the default position.
Bad board connection
System database broken
DKTU does not
operate
Bad extension circuit
Exchange the abnormal board for normal one.
Bad connection between
the MBU/DTIB and
keyset
The connection between the system and the keyset
must be repaired.
It must be checked that the connection is right, and
there is the mismatch between the line of SLIB and
DTIB on the MDF .
The limit of installation
distance
Check the distance between the MBU/DTIB and
keyset.
Bad keyset
Take the keyset and plug it into another extension
port that is working.
If the keyset does not work, replace the keyset.
SLT does not
operate
Bad MBU or SLIB board
Exchange the board for normal one.
Bad connection between
the MBU/SLIB and SLT
It should be checked that the board connection is
right and there is the mismatch of the lines of SLT
and DKT on the MDF.
