Wiring Precautions
Be sure to follow these instructions when wiring.
1.

cables are run near those wires, shield the cables with metal tubing or use shielded cables and
ground the shields.
2.
If the cables are run on the floor, use protectors to prevent the wires from being stepped on.
Avoid wiring under carpets.
3.
Avoid using the same power supply outlet for computers, telexes, and other office equipment.
Otherwise, the Aria-24ipe System operation may be interrupted by the induction noise from such
equipment.
4.
The power switch and battery switch of the Aria-24ipe System must be off during wiring. After
the wiring is completed, turn the power switch on.
5.
Mis-wiring may cause the Aria-24ipe System to operate improperly.
6.
If an extension does not operate properly, disconnect the telephone from the extension line and
then connect again, or turn the power of the Aria-24ipe System off and on again.
7.
Use twisted pair cable for co line connection.
