Operating in Reverse
(1100 cc Models)

wait for the reverse icon to illumi-

before backing up.
NOTE: The reverse function is can-
celled whenever the engine is shut
off.
2. After shifting from reverse to for-

To remove the access panel and hood, use
the following procedure:
746-089A
746-090A
746-091A
CAUTION
Never shift into reverse while the
snowmobile is moving forward as it is
hard on the driven pulley torque
bracket and the cam rollers.
! WARNING
Use caution and minimal speed when
operating the snowmobile in reverse.
Be sure the button is in the desired
position.
CAUTION
Never engage the electric starter
when the engine is running or when
operating in reverse. Damage to the
engine and/or the electric start sys-
tem will occur.
CAUTION
After reversing in deep powder snow
conditions, make sure the snowflap
does not become “caught up” in the
track. Track and/or snowflap damage
may occur.
CAUTION
If the snowmobile is equipped with
ice scratchers, the scratchers must
be disengaged or component dam-
age will occur.
