Install Blade Assembly

" (Sharpie works best) from the end of the motor shaft (see
Fig. 4
), and insert
the key into the slot of the motor shaft.
Slide the blade assembly onto the shaft (see
Fig. 5
). If you encounter resistance, DO NOT USE FORCE
Forcing the hub onto a tight shaft will only make future removal of the blade unnecessarily difficult. Use
fine sandpaper or a metal file to gently smooth down any areas of resistance, if necessary.
To ensure a fully seated Blade Assembly, the Blade's rear hub MUST reach the 1 -
11

" mark. When the
assembly is in place, securely tighten the two (2) hub setscrews with the 1/8" T-handle allen wrench.

Install Motor
Slide the motor onto the motor support
plate of the framework assembly (as
shown in
Fig. 3
). Secure the base of the
motor to the motor support plate using
5/16" hardware provided (Part #56, 57,
58, 116).
Tighten hardware by hand at this stage,
as final tightening will follow the blade
adjustment procedure.
