PNP/PCI Configuration > DMA Resource > DMA 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 assigned to
DMA 0, 1, 3, 5, 6, 7
assigned to
PCI/ISA PnP (Default)
Legacy ISA
When resources are controlled manually, assign each system DMA
a type, depending on the type of device using the interrupt. Legacy
ISA devices compliant with the original PC AT bus specification,
requiring a specific interrupt (such as IRQ4 for serial port1).
PCI/ISA PnP devices compliant with the Plug and Play standard,
whether designed for PCI or ISA bus archutecture.
PNP/PCI Configuration > PCI/VGA Palette Snoop
PCI/VGA Palette
Snoop
Enabled
Disabled (Default)
Enabling this item informs the PCI VGA card to keep silent (and to
prevent conflict) when palette register is updated (i.e., accepts data
without responding any communication signals). This is useful only
when two display cards use the same palette address and plugged in
the PCI bus at the same time (such as MPEG or Video capture card). In
such case, PCI VGA is silent while MPEG/Video capture card is set to
function normally.
