This item lets you set the parallel port mode. The mode options are
Normal (SPP, Standard and Bi-direction Parallel Port), EPP
(Enhanced Parallel Port) and ECP (Extended Parallel Port).
SPP (Standard and Bidirection Parallel Port)
SPP is the IBM AT and PS/2 compatible mode.
EPP (Enhanced Parallel Port)
EPP enhances the parallel port throughput by directly
writing/reading data to/from parallel port without latch.
ECP (Extended Parallel Port)
ECP supports DMA and RLE (Run Length Encoded) compression
and decompression.
