8. Serial Communication 

Indicator has the following two serial communication modes:

 Continuous 

transmission  

z

  Transmission upon request (from an external PC) 

Set up Baud, Bits, Parity, Mode and Test in F4 Menu.   

Detailed Setup Procedure is as follow: 

 

 

8.1 Continuous Transmission 

(1) 

Set indicator to Configuration mode.    Display shows “F1” 

(2) Press  until display shows “F4” (see Fig. 8-1).  Press 

 to go to F4 Menu.  

Display shows “F4.1”.   

(3) 

When display shows “F4.1”, press 

  until display shows “F4.4”. 

(4) 

When display shows “F4.4”, press 

  to show serial communication code. Use 

 

to set serial communication code to 0 (data transmitted continuously).
