Configure the power sensor’s calibration factor source by pressing:

Enter the lower frequency of the MG3702xA under test using the value in the frequency
range column of the test record.

Enter the upper frequency of the MG3702xA under test using the value in the frequency
range column of the test record.

Press any hard key to begin the measurement.

Preset the instrument by pressing

. The CW menu is displayed.

Edit Level
to open the current power level parameter for editing.

Set

to the power level indicated in the test record.

Press
Frequency

Press the
Freq Mode
(upper left hand corner of screen).

Press
Step Sweep
to place the instrument in the sweep frequency mode and to display the Step
Sweep menu.
8.
With the Step Sweep menu displayed, press
Edit Setup
.
9.
Press
Single
to put the trigger into single sweep mode.
10.
The minimum or maximum frequencies are based on the power sensor performance, model, options
installed, and specifications.
a.
Press
Edit F1
, enter the lower frequency of the MG3702xA under test using the next
frequency range value in the test record.
b.
Press
Edit F2
, enter the upper frequency of the MG3702xA under test using the next
frequency range value in the test record.
c.
Press
Dwell time
and set to 250ms.
d.
Press
Num of Steps
to open the number-of-steps parameter for editing.
e.
Enter the number of steps called out in the test records.
