9.13 P18 – Congee
2 cup sushi rice
2lt chicken or vegetable stock
2 garlic cloves, minced
2cm ginger, minced
soy sauce
Garnish
1 spring onion, finely sliced
2tbsp fried shallots
1. Place rice, stock, garlic and ginger into the cooking jar and select CONGEE (program 18)
and start.
2. Once cooked, leave in jar, covered for ten minutes before serving
3. Season to taste with soy sauce, and serve
4. garnish with spring onion and fried shallots
*Notes: add more or less stock for desired thickness; vegetables and meats can be added
towards the end of cooking for different flavours
10 Cleaning
Do Not
use, solvents, petrol, alcohol, kerosene, washing powder, cleanser, alkaline
detergent, acid, chemical cloths, etc. as these products may damage the plastics and
components.
Note
: Refer to the Table following for a visual list of items that can, and cannot be washed in
a dishwasher.
CAUTION
: To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents when
cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
Do Not
wash the jar or steamer components in the Dishwasher. Hand wash only as described
following.
The use of harsh abrasives is not recommended, simply clean the parts as described.
To Clean:
•
Always switch off, unplug and allow the appliance and accessories to cool down before
cleaning.
•
Do Not touch the sharp edge of the blades.
•
Clean the cooking jar and steamer components after each use. Wash with warm soapy
water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do Not
place in a dishwasher.
•
In order to maintain the good performance of your appliance, check and clean the
removable bottom part of the jar after each use.
•
The multifunction blade, kneading blade, butterfly whisk, spatula, jar lid and measuring
cup can be washed in the dishwasher but on low heat setting (45° – 60°).
•
Never immerse the Motor Base in water or wash under a running tap.
