5.8 Strainer / Steamer Basket
The Strainer / Steamer Basket can be used to strain out the fruit / vegetable juice after
processing.
Insert the Strainer into the jar and hold in place while you pour out the juice.
It can also be used to hold soft food such as pasta or noodles while cooking, and can be
used to cook side dishes, such as rice and potatoes.
5.9 Steamer Assembly
The Steamer accessory is used for steaming vegetables, fish, and any other food items
that you prefer to be steamed.
To set up the Steamer, the Jar Lid needs to be fitted to the Jar and lock on, then the
Measuring Cup / Hole Plug needs to be removed.
The Steamer is then placed on top of the Jar Lid ensuring it seats properly.
Please make sure that the steamer is covered properly with the Steamer Lid before
heating and steaming.
NOTE:
The steamer components
cannot
be used in a microwave oven or in / on any other
electrical appliance.
Do Not
place the steamer components in a Dishwasher. Refer to the “Cleaning” section
for instructions.
Do Not
touch any part of the steamer, other than the handles, when in use as you may
be burnt.
Keep well clear
of the steam vent holes in the steamer lid to avoid injury by hot steam.
Do Not
cover or block the holes in the steamer lid as the steam will find another escape
path and may cause serious injury or damage to surrounding items.
