9. SETUP OF THE GUN
CAUTION
TO SUPPLY THE SPRAY GUN USE CLEAN AIR FILTERED THROUGH AIR DRYER AND AIR FILTER.
WHEN USING THIS GUN FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER PURCHASE, CLEAN FLUID PASSAGES
AND REMOVE RUST PREVENTIVE OIL BY SPRAYING CLEANER.
FIRMLY FIX GRAVITY CUP TO SPRAY GUN, TO AVOID THAT DISCONNECTION OF IT, CAN
CAUSE BODILY INJURY.
1.
Flush fluid passages with a compatible cleaner.
2.
Firmly connect an air hose to air nipple G1/4”.
3.
Firmly connect the gravity cup to fluid nipple G1/4".
4.
Pour paint into container, adjust fluid output and as well as pattern width.
10. HOW TO ADJUST AND HOW TO OPERATE
WS-400
Suggested air pressure is 2.0 bar (29 PSI) or less.
LS-400
To achieve the recommended 0,7 bar (10 PSI) air pressure inside the air cap, first fully open the pattern
adjustment. Then while pulling the trigger, set the air pressure at the inlet port to 1,8 bar (26 PSI)
.
Recommended paint viscosity differs according to paint property and painting conditions.
14 to 25 sec. / Ford cup#4 is recommended.
Set the spray distance from the gun to the workpiece, as near as possible within the range of 100-250 mm.
The spray gun should be held so that it is perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece at all times. Then, the gun
should move in a straight and horizontal line. Arcing the gun causes uneven painting.

WARNING
TO AVOID TO PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE DPG-1, NEVER TRY TO REMOVE OR DETACH IT
WHEN THE SPRAY GUN IS PRESSURIZED.
USE EXCLUSIVELY SONY OR MURATA C1632 LITHIUM CELL.
AVOID ANY SITUATION THAT COULD EXPOSE THE BATTERY TO A SHORT-CIRCUIT.

TO UNSCREW AND SCREW THE SCREWS FROM THE BATTERY COVER OF THE DIGITAL DEVICE, USE
EXCLUSIVELY THE SCREWDRIVER SUPPLIED WITH THE SPRAY GUN.

EXCEPT THE ONLY BATTERY COVER
HOUSING AS SHOWN IN THE ABOVE

Unscrew and remove the two screws
from the battery housing cover.
Pull out in order, first the housing
cover and then the exhausted Coin
battery to be replaced.
