Connect the new battery connector. Ensure the correct polarity! The latch on the
connector will engage.

Place the battery pack into the holder and secure the Velcro strap. Tuck the
battery connector into the endcap.
o
Re-insert the endcap into the instrument. Do not twist the endcap more than ¼
turn each way. Excessive twisting of the endcap will damage the internal wiring of
the instrument.

Replace the four ¼x20 set screws.
o
Connect the instrument to a computer perform a scan and check the battery
voltage. A fully charged battery will be approximately 8.3 volts.
