Dry the instrument.
•
Open the battery compartment on the instrument.
o
Remove the four ¼x20 set screws in the instrument using a 1/8
th
inch hex driver.
o
Grasp the shackle bar and slowly wiggle the end cap out of the instrument until it
reaches the soft stop. Do not twist or attempt to unscrew the endcap, this will twist
the internal cable harness and can damage the wires.
o
Slowly pull the battery compartment just clear of the instrument.
o
Undo the Velcro retainer, remove the battery pack and disconnect the battery
connector.
