Replacing the dust filter cartridges
The exhaust air from the spark stand is led through two filters:
Water-filled filter (wet filter cartridge)
Dry filter with fabric filter (dry filter cartridge)

Replacing the dry filter cartridge
Caution! Risk of injury and health hazard!
The condensate in the filter cartridge consists of metal powder. The
condensate could be toxic or flammable, depending on the sample material.
When opening the filter cartridge, ensure that there is no ignition source
nearby. Open the filter cartridge only when the cartridge it is cold.
Protective gloves and safety glasses must be worn when cleaning the
spark stand or when changing the filter cartridges (water-filled filter/dust
filter cartridge).
When disposing of the condensate, compliance with legal regulations is
mandatory.
In order to replace the filter cartridge, proceed as follows:
1.
Hold the filter cartridge (1) with
both hands and unscrew it.
2.
Remove the filter insert (2) and
place the new insert into the filter
housing.
3.
Screw the filter cartridge back in by hand.
The filter cartridge screws in easily. If not, the filter insert is not positioned
correctly.
Now, the filter cartridge is replaced.
