7.3.2 Measuring
To proceed with a measurement, follow the steps below:
1.
After starting the spectrometer program "Spark Analyzer Pro CHECK", select
the "Analysis" function.
2.
If necessary, change the method by selecting "Load Method" or pressing the
respective function key.
3.
Put the sample in position.
The sample must fully cover the opening in the spark stand plate.
The sample clamp must have contact with the sample (the safety circuit
is closed).
4.
Use "Start" or the respective function key to start the measurement.
The measurement is fully automated.
The measurement is finished automatically.
The measurement results are displayed on the screen.
5.
Perform further measurements if required.
Brush the electrode.
Rotate the sample slightly for each further measurement. The respective
burn spots must not overlap.
6.
Use "Start" or press the respective function key to start the series of
measurement.
The measurement is complete.
