4-6 | Heated Acid Gas Sample Probe (Large Diameter)
Changing Out Replaceable Parts
This section describes replacing parts in the HAG Sample Probe, as per the
Preventive Maintenance Schedule.
Performing preventive maintenance on the analyzer/HAG Probe
requires working with the analyzer’s System 200 Configurator
Software. Familiarize yourself with the Software before working
on the analyzer and HAG Probe.
Replacing HAG Probe Parts
This procedure discusses maintenance procedures to change out parts in
the HAG Probe. The Sample/Vent Isolation valves and (optional) Double
Block valves in the HAG Probe do not require regular maintenance.
It is necessary to change out the o-rings, Hi-Flow Membrane, Fiber Filter
Element, and Sintered Disk:
• Every six months.
• If evidence of contamination and/or leaks is present.
It is necessary to change out the Sample/Vent Isolation valves or (optional)
Double Block valves immediately if:
• Leaks are originating from any of these valves.
IMPORTANT
Be sure to have the required parts (o-rings, Hi-Flow Membrane, Fiber
Filter Element, Sintered Disk, and/or Sample/Vent Isolation valve or
(optional) Double Block valve kits on-site prior to disassembling the
Sample Probe valve assembly.

