Replication Overview

The Business Threat

Business Continuance (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) are of paramount importance in
today’s storage industry. Increased awareness of outages, Business globalization and
workflows, Storage Consolidation, Regulation and Compliance imposed by Government
are some of the major factors driving Businesses towards incorporating robust and
reliable DR strategies.

The Solution: Remote Replication

High Availability with Synchronous Replication

Various factors have to be considered while architecting a DR solution. Service Level
Agreements (SLA) along with tolerable Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery
Time Objective (RTO) are the key factors influencing the planning.
