Point cloud measurements

User manual

Page 24 of 68

Insert point

Adds a new target for the point cloud position with manually click to the

target.

Select point

Select an existing target point and move the target cross to an other po-

sition.

Delete point

Delete an existing target.

Zoom to fit

Shows the whole scan in one picture.

Next

Uses the selected targets for the resection calculation of the point cloud.

3. Check the recalculation of the resection.

In the upper table of the window, the

control points

from the positioning information are

listed. Switch on/off control points or edit control point IDs to adjust the resection calculation.

The following columns are available:

Use

Activate to use this control point for resection calculation.

Control point Id

ID of the control point (edit if the name from the positioning infor-

mation does not match the control points stored in this project).

Any control point defined in the project may be used.

Easting

Easting value of the control point used for resection calculation

(according to selected date and time in step 1).

Northing

Northing value of the control point used for resection calculation

(according to selected date and time in step 1).

Height

Height value of the control point used for resection calculation

(according to selected date and time in step 1).

Date and time

Date and time of the control point coordinate used from the

editors of this project.

Residual of Easting coordinate after resection calculation.

Residual of Northing coordinate after resection calculation.

Residual of Height coordinate after resection calculation.

Calculation status

The calculation status column provides information about the

control point.
