Connecting the implement 

 

WARNING 

Danger of damage during operation, insufficient stability and 
insufficient tractor steering and braking power when tractor is 
improperly used! 

You may only connect the implement to a tractor suitable for the 
purpose. See section "Checking tractor suitability", page 45. 

 

 

WARNING 

Risk of crushing between the implement and tractor when con-
necting the implement to tractor! 

Instruct people to leave the danger area between the tractor and the 
implement before you approach the implement. 

Any helpers may act as guides standing next to the tractor and the 
implement, and may only move between the vehicles when both are 
at a standstill. 

 

 

WARNING 

Risk of crushing, cutting, catching, being drawn in and/or being 
knocked down when the implement unexpectedly disconnects 
from the tractor! 

 

Use the intended equipment to connect the tractor and the im-
plement properly. 

 

When connecting the implement to the tractor's three-point hy-
draulic system, ensure that the attachment categories of the 
tractor and the implement are the same. 

 

Be absolutely certain to upgrade the category II upper and lower 
link pins of the implement to category III using reducing sleeves 
if your tractor has a category III three-point linkage. 

 

Only use the upper and lower link pins provided for connecting 
the implement. 

 

Visually check the upper and lower link pins for obvious defects 
whenever the implement is connected. Replace upper and lower 
link pins if there are clear signs of wear. 

 

Use a linchpin on each of the upper and lower link pins in the 
pivot points on the three-point frame attachment to secure them 
against unintentional disconnection. 

 

 

WARNING 

Risk of energy supply failure between the tractor and the imple-
ment through damaged power lines! 

During connection, check the power lines. The power lines must: 

 

give slightly without tension, bending or rubbing on all move-
ments of the connected implement.
