SECURE SIDE

CURTAINS

Expand curtains as far as possible.

Install (5) 25-mm curtain sash

screws. For hard wood or metal

window frames, drill a 1/8” diameter

pilot hole to start screw.

IMPORTANT:

 Be careful not to drill

pilot hole too deep. Add a piece of

tape to the drill bit as a depth

gauge. Also stay clear of glass. Be

careful not to damage the function

of the window.

INSTALL SEAL

GASKET

Cut window seal gasket to width of

window. Stuff window seal gasket

between outdoor window glass

and top of indoor sash. This will

stop air leakage which reduces

efficiency.

PREPARE UNIT

FOR

INSTALLATION

Unpack unit on floor next to

installation location.
Remove front attachment screw.

Screw location based on unit style.

Separate the outercase from the front

with a putty knife at the catch points

designated by the arrows.
Remove  one screw securing basepan

locking bracket. Remove two screws

located in the rear of the outercase,

securing basepan to outercase

(AAC08, AAC10, AAC12). Using the

basepan handles, slowly and evenly

pull chassis out from outer case.

Note:

 Cover putty knife blade with

masking tape to guard against

damage of units finish. The filter is

removed in this illustration for clarity.

Caution:

 Never expose plastic

front or grille to extreme

temperatures.

INSTALLER LE TUYAU

D’ÉCOULEMENT/LE

COUDE DE DRAINAGE

Modèles : AAC081STA, AAC101STA,

AAC121STA. Aligner les attaches du

tuyau d’écoulement avec la clé située

dans la base. Insérer le tuyau et le faire

tourner à 90 degrés pour le verrouiller.

Pousser l’extrémité du coude dans le

trou jusqu’à ce qu’il soit verrouillé.

REMETTRE LE CHÂSSIS

DANS LE BOÎTIER

EXTÉRIEUR

Faire appel à quelqu’un pour remettre le

châssis dans le boîtier extérieur. Poser

l’attache de la base. Remettre le panneau

avant et la grille en place.

IMPORTANT : 

Comme la guillotine de la

fenêtre aide à garder l’appareil dans la

fenêtre, s’assurer que la guillotine de la

fenêtre entre en contact avec le boîtier

extérieur avant de remettre le châssis

en place.
