4.4 Other Errors
CHECK POINT REPAIR
Not working
1 . Check to see if the POWER-CABLE-HOUSING
is normally inserted in the connector (CN3).
YES : go to CHECK POINT 2
NO : go to REPAIR 1
2 . Check to see if the RAM is completely inserted
in RAM SOCKET.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 3
NO : go to REPAIR 2
3 . After replacing the RAM with the new one,
check to see if the printer is working properly.
YES : END
NO : go to CHECK POINT 4
4 . Check to see if the MOTOR-DRIVE-IC is
completely inserted in IC SOCKET.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 5
NO : go to REPAIR 3
5 . After replacing the MOTOR-DRIVE-IC, with the
new one, check to see if the printer is working
properly.
YES : END
NO : go to CHECK POINT 6
6 . Check to see if the MOTOR-CABLE-HOUSING
is normally inserted in the connector (CN2).
YES : go to CHECK POINT 7
NO : go to REPAIR 4
7 . After replacing the MOTOR with the new one,
check to see if the printer is working properly.
YES : END
NO : go to REPAIR 5
1 . Insert the
POWER-CABLE-HOUSING in the
connector (CN3) normally.
2 . Insert the RAM in the socket
again.
3 . Insert the MOTOR DRIVE IC in
the SOCKET again.
4 . Insert the
MOTOR-CABLE-HOUSING in the
connector.
5 . Replace the MAIN CONTROL
CONTROLLER with the new one.
Bad Feeding
1 . Check to see if the head bundle is normally
locked.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 2
NO : go to REPAIR 1
2 . Check to see if the head is normally equipped
with the head bundle.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 3
NO : go to REPAIR 2
3 . Check to see if the head get dusts.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 4
NO : go to REPAIR 3
4 . Check to see if the MOTOR-DRIVE-IC is
completely inserted in IC SOCKET.
YES : go to CHECK POINT 5
NO : go to REPAIR 4
5 . After replacing the MOTOR-DRIVE-IC with the
new one, check to see if the printer is working
properly.
YES : END
NO : go to CHECK POINT 6
6 . Check to see if the MOTOR-CABLE- HOUSING
1 . Lock the Head-bundle normally.
2 . Fit the head in again.
3 . Clean the head by using a head
cleaner.
4 . Insert the MOTOR-DRIVE IC in
the socket again.
5 . Insert the MOTOR-CABLE-
HOUSING in the connector normally.
6 . Replace the
MAIN-CONTROL-CONTROLLER
