Customization
An explanation of the customization settings is given in the table, below:
Uploads
After obtaining new versions of the firmware (see p. 13), specify
the directories that you have put them in here to start the firmware
upgrade procedure (see p. 24 for details).
Time out Control
If the KN9000 doesn’t receive any input from the computer that
currently has access to it for the amount of time specified here, it
ends the connection so it can be available for other users.
Login failure
Login failures allowed, sets the number of consecutive failed
login attempts that are permitted from a remote computer. Login
failure timeout, sets the amount of time a remote computer must
wait before attempting to login again after it has exceeded the
number of allowed failures.
Working Modes
If Stealth Mode is enabled, the KN9000 cannot be pinged.
If Echo Mode is disabled, the KN9000 will not show up in the list
of local KN9000 units (see p. 10 and p. 28)
Reset on exit
Placing a check here causes the KN9000 to reset itself and
implement all the new changes when you Click OK and close
the Settings Notebook.
