Installation and Start Up

Starting and Testing the MBP System

TIP: If at any time the system does not perform as described, carry out trou-
bleshooting as described in Section 3.8, 3.9 and 5.2 of this manual.

Step 1: Turn on Line Power

Turn the MBP’s rotary switch to “Bypass.”

Verify the AC input & output and battery

circuit breakers on the UPS are off.

Turn on the upstream circuit breaker.

Verify the load is receiving power. If not,

perform troubleshooting.

Go to Step 2

Step 2: Turn on the UPS

Turn on the battery circuit breaker.

The LCD shows ”INVOFF”.

Turn the MBP rotary switch to “Transfer.”

Verify the load is receiving power. If not,
perform troubleshooting.

Turn on the AC input & output circuit

breaker.

Within 30 seconds the LCD display
changes to “LINE” showing line power is
within acceptable frequency and voltage
ranges. The UPS is operating on line
power.
