Manually setting gain
The following ranges can be used when manually setting the gain for the analog video
signal:

The increment length is ~0.0354 dB/step.
The values to be entered lie within the following ranges:

Setting the gain can be done independently from setting the offset (black value).

Higher gain also produces greater image noise. This reduces image quality. This is
why you should first try to increase the brightness using the aperture of the
camera optics and shutter settings.
