Here are the general steps to Part II:
1. Add the member switches as provisioned units to the master switch,
with the SWITCH PROVISION command. This step is to ensure that
the master switch knows about the member switch during the first
power-on of the stack.
2. Remove the stacking function from the default stacking ports 17 and
21 on the provisioned member switches with the NO STACKPORT
command.
3. Designate the optional stacking ports as the stack trunk on the
provisioned member switches, with the STACKPORT command.
4. Save your changes with the WRITE command in the Privilege Exec
mode.
5. Reboot the switch with the REBOOT command.
6. Start a new local management session.
7. Verify the changes with the SHOW STACK and SHOW RUNNING-
CONFIG command.
Configuring the
Master Switch -
Part I
To configure the master switch to use the optional stacking ports for the
stack trunk, perform the procedure in Table 21.

Power on the master switch and wait two minutes for it to initialize the management

Steps 4 to 6 display the status of the switch hardware and the version number of the
AlliedWare Plus management software.
