        Configuring SLC 5/05 Ethernet Communications

The Channel Configuration window will open.

Chan 1 - System

 tab.

Make sure the 

BOOTP Enable

 box is 

not

 checked (i.e., disable 

BootP).

Enter your processor’s unique 

IP address

 in the space provided. 

We used 130.130.130.2 for the example application.

IMPORTANT

You must enter the same IP Address when you 
configure the 

Ethernet to PLC-5/SLC-5/5820-EI 

driver in RSLinx (see page 5-5).
