Configuration Worksheet
for RTD/Resistance Module
The following configuration procedure and worksheet are provided to help
you configure each of the channels on your RTD module. The channel
configuration word consists of bit fields, the settings of which determine how
the channel will operate. This procedure looks at each bit field separately
and helps you configure a channel for operation. Refer to Table 5.A and the
detailed configuration information in chapter 5 as needed to complete the
procedures in this appendix. Or you may prefer to use the summary
worksheet on page C–4.
Proceed as follows:
1. Determine the input device type (RTD type or resistance input) for a
channel and enter its respective 4–digit binary code in bit field 0–3 of the
channel configuration word.
