Chapter 2 Installation – Arc-Resistant Enclosure

4. To access the left side of the power bus, locate the two bus access covers

at the rear, left side of the power cell. Remove the four 1/4-20 self-tapping
screws (12 lb•ft [15N•m]) from each cover and remove the covers (see

Figure 31 on page 37

6. Remove the power fuses from the isolation switch.
7. Remove the interphase barriers from the trailer fuse block by raising

them vertically up and out of the mounting slots (see

Figure 32

8. Use a 9/16-in. socket to remove the contactor bus bars from the isolation

switch trainer fuse block.
