5.0 Maintenance

5.1 General

As you proceed through this section, it will be easy to see how simple is the compressor to maintain. By
following these recommendations, you will get long and trouble free operation from your air compressor. The

following are general guidelines for periodical maintanence; specific details will be mentioned in the following
chapters. Use the Maintenance Table for maintenance and record keeping.

WARNING!

Before attempting any maintenance work, isolate the compressor by switching off the power
and blowing down the pressure inside all devices, including the filters, purifier, piping etc. If a

bank system exists, isolate by closing the appropriate valves.

CAUTION!

Ambient temperature where the compressor is

located must be b 5◦ C and + 45◦ C.
