STEP 4: INSTALLING THE AWNING
Once the brackets are installed correctly, you can start to install the awning.
2 people are needed for this step. Use a ladder to carry out the installation and make sure that it is stable.
1. Remove the bolts ( nuts) preinstalled on the front of each mounting bracket

2. Insert the torsion bar

into the notch in the bracket.
3. Place and screw in the nut and bolt on each bracket.

If the torsion bar fits poorlu into the mounting brackets, loosen the nuts of a mounting bracket
slightly (on the wall) and repeat the installation. Make slight forward / backward movements un-
til the torsion bar is inserted into the brackets. Immediately tighten the loose nuts on the wall.
STEP 3B: INSTALLING ON A WOODEN WALL
1. Drill the previously marked holes with a drill and 6mm bit. The holes must be at least 8cm deep.

into the holes of the awning brackets

,then into the pre-drilled beam.
The side of the bracket with a notch must be pointing upwards.
3. Gently push in the screws and turn them manually at first, then tighten using the appropriate Allen key
or an adjustable spanner.
