5 Maintenance
Service the valve regularly.
Study the instructions carefully and pay special attention to the warnings!
Always use Alfa Laval genuine spare parts. Always keep spare rubber seals, lip seals and diaphagms in stock.
Check the valve for smooth operation after servicing.
Step 18
Now mount upper clamp and tighten - torque = 10-12 Nm.
IMPORTANT!
Please remember NOT to dismount the lower clamp unless plug
stays in the upper position, as diaphragm will be destroyed if plug
moves downwards (also see Step 16).

If the upper valve body has to be rotated remember ALWAYS to
start with dismounting the upper clamp.
