To prepare the cable:

Step 1

Using a wire-stripping tool, strip the insulation from the wire to 7/16-inches.

Step 2

Locate the lug in the accessory box. Slide the open end of the lug over the exposed area 
of the prepared wire.

Step 3

Using a crimping tool, crimp the lug to the wire.
