Before conducting the inspection, make sure the truck engine is off, all
movement has stopped and the truck is in park with the parking brake
engaged. Make sure the Truck is parked on level ground.

Check the transmission fluid level
Check the battery
Inspect all engine drive belts for wear
Check the windshield washer fluid level
Check operation of all lights and beacons
Adjust the mirrors
Verify that all emergency equipment is present
DO NOT OPERATE an UNSAFE SWEEPER
