8.4.2.2 Cleaning
The thermal mass is made of wound aluminium foil. On the basis of the counterflow principle, self-cleaning takes place
in most cases, which prevents contamination of the thermal mass.

As access for cleaning the thermal mass of the rotary heat exchanger, you can use the inspection doors/inspection
covers of the upstream and downstream functional units.
IMPORTANT
„
The switch cabinet doors can only be opened when the main switch is switched off.
„
The respective manufacturer documentation of the rotor manufacturers must be ob-
served.
„
If necessary, the thermal mass can be cleaned with compressed air, depending on the degree of contamination. Use
a hot water high pressure cleaner for stubborn contamination.
IMPORTANT
Only use compressed air or water without chemical additives as the medium! The air or water
jet must act on the thermal mass vertically, otherwise there is a risk of damage!
8.4.2.3 Drive belt maintenance

Visually inspect the drive belts regularly for wear, replace if necessary.

Check the tension of the V-belt pulley

The V-belt can stretch, particularly within the first 400 operating hours.

If the drive belt stretches too much, it must be shortened.

This can be carried out by simply removing links. Please refer to the relevant manufacturer's documentation.
