The battery must be protected from high heat and must not be bent or damaged.
(Fire and explosion hazard)! Should the battery ever become hot, it must be
replaced immediately!

Possible malfunctions and their correction, software reset
Very slow pairing or no pairing possible:
Near strong wifi hotspots, the usable frequencies may be overloaded, pair the devices
outside these areas.

If the connection is not restored automatically, reduce the distance within ¼ hour. The
devices should then reconnect in the reception area.
Interruption in cell phone or nav connection:
If the Bluetooth
®
connection is lost once during operation with a cell phone or navigation
system due to interference, etc., you will hear 2 short low-pitched tones every 30
seconds, the connection is then usually re-established automatically.
Malfunctions and interruptions:
Radio waves in the frequency range used (2.4 GHz) reflect very strongly off buildings,
etc., and there is constant interference during changes of location and thus fluctuations in
field strength. As a result, interference and interruptions are possible.
Speech is too quiet:
Check the microphone placement, the microphone should have lip contact.
No voice transmission, although the connection is active:
Press the multifunction key twice at intervals of 5 sec.
Noise etc.:
Reduce the volume; at very high volume settings, system-typical background noise
(hissing, soft singing, etc. ) may be heard.
Unexplained malfunctions, device no longer responds, reset:
Switch the devices off and on again, if this is not possible, charge the battery, when the
charging plug is plugged in, a software reset is performed automatically. If this does not
help either, delete all settings, see next section.
Secure deletion of existing settings (factory reset)
To do this, turn on only one device at a time.

Care of the device
Clean the switched-off device with a soft damp cloth and some liquid dishwashing
detergent and never immerse it in water! It is essential to store the device in a dry place!
