If not all paired devices are in use, the group leader's device will search for them for 2
minutes after switching on.
Commissioning (pairing) the Bluetooth ® interface
The integrated Bluetooth
®
interface enables wireless connection of the Stealth NG4 system
via the HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles with a cell phone, smartphone, etc. (recommended
Bluetooth
®
version 4.0 or higher). (recommended Bluetooth
®
version 4.0 or higher).
Pairing with a Bluetooth ® device (smartphone, navi or radio)
Switch on only the NG4 to be paired by briefly pressing the multifunction button

on it.
Red - blue alternating flashing signals the pairing • • or search mode

Now put the Bluetooth ® device to be paired into pairing mode as well. The NG4 remains in
pairing mode for one minute.

If there are other Bluetooth
®
devices in the vicinity,
you should deactivate “Bluetooth” on these devices or switch them off.
On smartphones, navis or radios with menu navigation, you will usually find the option
"Search for Bluetooth devices nearby". If you select this function, the desired device
should then be displayed for pairing. If you are still asked for a pass word after
confirming, enter 0000. For further instructions on pairing Bluetooth ® devices, refer to the
respective manual.
After successful pairing, the alternating flashing is terminated.

Briefly press the multifunction key

. With many cell phones, you can also switch on the
automatic call acceptance function, in which case the operation is reduced to a
minimum.
Reject a call
For an incoming call, press the multifunction key

for 1 x (approx. 1 second) to reject
the call.
Make a call
If you want to call, enter the desired number into your phone or use the redial function.
End call
Briefly press the multifunction key

or wait until the other party hangs up, the connection
is automatically terminated.
Audio player, adjusting the volume
The volume can be set separately for each operating mode on the Stealth Helmet Set
NG4, as well as on the cell phone, etc.. When the highest or lowest volume is reached, a
corresponding warning tone sounds.
Connect devices automatically
Not all cell phones connect automatically when switched on, the connection can then be
activated via the cell phone menu. If the cell phone is already switched on, the Bluetooth
®
electronics of the Stealth Helmet Set NG4 will attempt to establish the connection
automatically when it is switched on. Some cell phones then still require confirmation.
