Application example 1
Automatic switching the power consumers in the office on or off:
Switches off all power consumers which are not required, if certain working places are not
used. Often devices such as photocopying machines, departmental printers, franking
machines and other office machines are switched on overnight, unless they are not used
and thus energy is consumed unnecessarily.
Example: Departmental printers:
You have a department with 5 working places which access the same departmental
printer. If all 5 working places are switched off, the departmental printer may also be
switched off. As soon as the first working place is switched on again, the departmental
printer should also be switched on again.
