If your air conditioner fails to operate, please follow these procedures prior to contacting customer service.

Is the unit plugged in?
Securely plug the power cord into the wall
outlet.
Is the main power supply on?
Re-establish the main power supply.
Is there a power failure?
Wait for power to restore. When
power is back, wait 3 minutes before
starting the unit
Is the timer on? (some models)
Change time settings.
Unit does not operate
or only runs in fan
mode
The LCDI Plug has tripped.
On the plug there are two buttons (TEST and
RESET). Press RESET, it will click as the
button is pressed down. The power cord is
now supplying electricity to the unit.
Is the airflow restricted?
Clear out the air inlets and outlets (curtains,
blinds, etc.).
Is there any heat source in the room?
Close or move the heat source.
Is the air filter dirty?
Clean the air filter.
Is the set temperature suitable?
Change set temperature.
Is fan speed set to
Low
or mode
set to
Energy Saver
(some models)
Increase the fan speed or change the unit
mode.
Air cooling is not
efficient.
Is the unit freezing to cause ice
blocking in the airflow?
Set highest fan speed and coolest
temperature and wait for frost to melt.
Is the outdoor temperature within the
unit working range?
The unit will not operate properly when the
outside temperature is below 17

C (62
°
F).
Is the power source voltage properly
rated?
Refer to the unit rating plate and modify
power source accordingly.
The internal evaporator and outside
condenser coils look dirty or
obstructed by debris.
Contact customer service.
The unit starts and
stops frequently, or
frequently blows fuses
or trips the circuit
breaker.
Is the unit plugged alone or connected
to an extension cord?
Ensure there are no other appliances
plugged on the same circuit or connected to
an extension cord.
Water drips from unit
into the house
Unit is not correctly installed and
properly leveled.
The unit should slightly slope downward the
outside. Reposition the unit if necessary.
Never drill a hole in the bottom of the metal
base and condensation pan.
