ENERGY SAVER MODE
This feature can be used when the air conditioner is in COOL mode. On this mode, the air conditioner cycles on
and off to maintain the set temperature. This feature is recommended when the room is unoccupied.
Note: The fan and the compressor may not cycle on and off simultaneously.
1. Press the ENERGY SAVER button.
2. Press
◄ (increase) or ► (decrease) to set room temperature the 17 ˚ C to 30 ˚ C or (62 ˚ F to 86 ˚ F). The set
temperature will show on the LCD display panel. To alternate between ˚ C and ˚ F, press and hold both ◄ and
► keys together for 3 seconds.
3. Press the to set fan speed: AUTO, LOW, MED or HIGH. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
SLEEP MODE
On this mode, the air conditioner adjusts the cooling temperature for a preset period of time. This mode maintains
a continuous temperature for a comfortable sleeping environment.

30 minutes after setting the sleep mode, the set temperature will increase by 2 ˚ F. After another 30 minutes, it will
increase by 2 ˚ F again.
ƒ
This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before returning to the original set temperature and ending
the SLEEP mode. The air conditioner will continue to operate as originally programmed.
1. Set to COOL mode and set the desired temperature level.
2. Press the SLEEP button to activate
3. To cancel this mode, simply press SLEEP button once more at any time.
SETTING THE TIMER
The timer is used to set an automatic start or shut off.
AUTOMATIC START:
1. Press TIMER until the ON indicator light goes on to indicate program activation.
2.
Press ◄ (increase) or ► (decrease) to set the numbers of hours (up to 24 hours) before desired auto-start.
Selections from 0-10 hours will increase in ½ hour increments while selections in the range of 10-24 hours will
increase in 1 hour increments.

For 5 seconds, the control panel will display the time left before automatic start, followed by displaying the
room’s current temperature.
AUTOMATIC SHUT OFF:
1. Press the TIMER button until the OFF indicator light is illuminated.
2. This indicates that the automatic shut off program is activated.
3. Repeat steps 2 and 3 from instructions for AUTOMATIC START to program.
4. Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time will cancel the TIMER function.
FILTER CLEANING INDICATOR LIGHT
This feature is a reminder to clean the air filter. It will illuminate after 250 hours of operation.
1. When the CHECK FILTER light is on, remove and clean the air filter or replace it. Refer to “Cleaning the air
filter” in the “Maintenance” section.
2. Re-install filter back onto the air conditioner.
3. Reset by pressing CHECK FILTER button. The pilot light will go off.
