FIX THE EXPANDABLE PANELS ON THE AIR CONDITIONER BEOFRE PLACING THE UNIT IN THE WINDOW.
NOTE: Bottom and side rails are factory installed.

TOP MOUNTING RAIL (# A11MDA10AG only):
Align the holes in the top rail with those on the top of the air conditioner; secure the top rail to the unit with four
3/8” screws

2. EXPANDABLE
PANELS:
There is a LEFT and RIGHT expandable panel. Be sure to properly match each panel to each side of the air
conditioner. When installed, the flange for securing the panel in place to the window sill is facing into the room.

. Stretch the expendable panel towards the open end of the panel frame unit it slightly exceeds the
panel frame in order to be inserted in the unit’s side rail (pre-installed in # A11MDA20AG, A11MDA30AG).

. Slide the panel edge down in the unit’s side rail.

. Insert and slide all the way in the top and bottom ends of the panel frame into the unit top and
bottom rails. Repeat on other side.
Top rail and expandable panels are offset to provide 5/6” pitch to the rear. This is necessary for proper
condensed water utilization and drainage. If you do not have to use the expandable panels, make sure to
maintain this pitch upon installing the air conditioner.
Make sure you install the air conditioner in the window that will hold the weight and secure the unit as per
the instructions. Check the rating level on your unit or the packing box to get the weight of your air
conditioner.
