Cleaning Air Filter
To clean the air intake filter, be sure to do the following:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord from the receptacle.
2. Allow the compressor time to cool if it has been in operation.
3. Open the drain valve to bleed all air from the tank. After the tank is empty,
close the drain valve.
4. Remove the outer cap from the air intake filter assembly.
5. Remove the 'filter from the inside of the assembly.
6. Wash the filter in warm soapy water to remove any dirt or debris.
7. Dry the filter before re-inserting into the assembly.
8. Return the filter to the assembly and replace the outer cap.
Checking Valves
1. Pull ring on the tank safety valve and allow to return to its normal position.
The valve must be replaced if ii cannot be actuated or if it Is leaking air after
returned to its normal position.
2. Drain any moisture from tank by opening e drain valve located on the bottom
side of the tank. Once all moisture and built up air pressure is released from
tank. re-tighten drain valve. If valve will not close, this valve must be
replaced.
9. STORAGE
For storing the air compressor, be sure to do the following:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug the power cord from the receptacle.
2. Remove all air hoses. accessories, and air tools from the air compressor.
3. Perform the daily maintenance schedule.
4. Open the drain valve to bleed all air from the tank.
5. Close the drain valve.
6. Store the air compressor in a clean and dry location.
10. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WARNING
The air compressor should be turned off and unplugged from the power source
before any maintenance is performed as well as the air bled from the tank and
the unit allowed time to cool. Personal injury could occur from moving parts,
electrical sources, compressed air or hot sufaces.
