1)   Prepare the appliance in the normal way 
      and start, then let it warm up for at least
      1 minute.  Engage the operating lever 
      (EC13) for appr. 10 sec. and stop the 
      appliance.  The operating lever must be 
      released automatically.

AR9E / AR35E is equipped with an emgency cut-off device (called “EC”).  Every 
appliance was given the final inspection at the factory of manufacturer, so adjustment 
is not needed when starting the appliance.  However, it is necessary after a repair or 
blocking.

Check of function.  Please proceed as follows:

2)   Start the appliance and engage the 
      operating lever. 
      Open solution tap (120), now fogging
      thrust should be seen.

3)   Stop the appliance, operating lever will be
      released automatically, the fogging should
      stop now.

4)   Check no solution leak from screw 
      housing (EC27), valve housing (EC33) 
      and solution nozzle (114).

      ! 

After every check of function, immediately close solution tap and release 
pressure from solution tank by loosen the tank cap.

Always check the function of the “EC” when starting.  The appliance may only be 
operated when the “EC” function correctly.

The fine adjustment of the Bowden Cable (EC23) 
can only be effective when the appliance is warm 
up:
-  ajust the tension of the Bowden Cable (EC23)
   by tuning the screw-type nipple (EC25)
   inwards / outwards.
-  after correct adjustment, tighten the nut (EC24).
