5.12 Connecting the Door Switch (Interlock)
The Interlock is a safety device used to prevent undesired radiation when the door of X-Ray room is open .
The interlock circuit must be connected to a switch that is located near the door of the X-Ray room in
order to ensure automatic interruption of the X-ray emission .
This section describes how to connect the equipment to the door interlock system .
NOTE: The door interlock system installation is done by the third party
before connecting to the door interlock.
1 . Prepare the door contact cable as shown below .
2 . Attach the door contact cable into the connec-
tor(CN408) at the rear of the control panel .
* If you try to connect the door contact cable
through the control Unit to the control panel,
make sure that you pull out the cable from the
right location as shown in the figure .
3 . Make sure that Door Check function is "ON" in
the service mode menu .
* To go into the service menu : While pressing the
button
and the button until the the service
menu appears .
4 . You will see the "Door Check Please . ." message on the control panel display when you try
to make an exposure while the door is open .
