SITE
WIRING
The
Maxpage
Terminal
and
mini
keyboard
should
be
placed
on
a
work
station
in
a
secure
area
and
at
least
2
metres
away
from
any
other
electronic
equipment
to
avoid
interference.

MAXPAGE
TERMINAL…

OTHER
ELECTRONIC
EQUIPMENT

ABOVE

HEATER
IN
DIRECT
SUNLIGHT
NEAR
TO
SPLASHING
WATER
The
Maxpage
Terminal
must
be
within
20
metres
cable
run
of
a
Touchsafe
Pro
Display
Panel.
Note:
If
there
are
multiple
panels
connect
to
the
one
which
is
most
centrally
located
on
the
site.
The
battery
‐
backed
power
supply
unit
should
be
wall
mounted
within
1.5
metres
of
the
Maxpage
Terminal
and
within
2
metres
of
an
un
‐
switched
mains
supply.
The
mini
keyboard
simply
plugs
into
the
PS2
Keyboard
socket
on
the
rear
of
the
Maxpage
Terminal.
RADIO
RANGE
Construction
materials
such
as
foil
backed
plasterboard,
reinforced
concrete
or
stone
walls
will
reduce
range.
Environmental
conditions
such
as
high
levels
of
transmission
at
nearby
frequencies
or
emissions
from
other
electrical
equipment
may
further
reduce
range.
Clear
line
‐
of
‐
sight
will
give
a
maximum
radio
range
of
1
mile
radius
from
the
transmitter.
