7. PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS
Maintenance is a very important procedure that helps guarantee time reliability of the machine over time and above all safe and
correct operation. Remember that maintenance costs are considerably lower than the costs of repairs due to skipped or negligent
maintenance.
Periodical inspections, adjustments and lubrication will keep the machine in the best possible safety and working conditions. Safety
is the responsibility of the machine’s owner/user. The most important points relating to checks, adjustments and lubrication of the
machine are illustrated on the following pages.
The intervals specified in the periodical maintenance and lubrication table should be considered solely as a general guide for normal
operating conditions. Nonetheless, the maintenance intervals may need to be reduced according to the weather and ground conditions,
the location and the individual application.
CAUTION!
Failure to perform correct maintenance or maintenance carried out incorrectly may increase the
risk of accidents or fatalities during service or when using the machine.
WARNING!
Original spare parts: worn or malfunctioning components must always be replaced with original spare parts, as
listed in the
SPARE PARTS CATALOGUE , enclosed with the machine’s technical documents.
Replacement spare parts must be ordered from AGREX S.p.A.
If the customer does not use original spare parts or parts authorised by the manufacturer, the
latter declines all liability for operation of the machine and the safety of operators.
In order to guarantee machine reliability, a predictive and preventive maintenance plan should be adopted.
TYPE OF MAINTENANCE DESCRIPTION
Predictive maintenance
Possibility to recognise a developing fault by identifying and interpreting minor premonitory
signals.
Preventive maintenance
Maintenance performed at set intervals or based on set criteria aimed at reducing the probability
of faults occurring and slowing down wear.
