Installation Instructions

Agilent G3440-68011 Micro Electron Capture (µECD) 3rd Detector

Prepare the GC left side

Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the sheet metal knockout on the left 
side of the GC. See 

Figure 11

Remove sheetmetal knockout

Remove the circular insulation plug and any excess insulation. Use a 
flat-bladed screwdriver to create a 1/4-inch hole through the oven 
insulation and into the oven. See

Prepare mounting hole for the µECD

Install the 3rd detector adaptor plate to the side of the GC using four 
12 mm M4 screws. See
